A. Stop throwing your money in the trash!
Major plastic bag manufacturers are now selling trash bags that are marketed to control the odor and even some that are designed to "cling" to the rim of the can.
But think about it, if you use these bags you are throwing away the technology incorporated in those bags every time you throw out the trash. The Cinch is a smarter system. The technology is separate from the trash bag. It transforms any free standing trash can into a smarter, more efficient, time and money saving system.
Those expensive bags can cost 2 or 3 times as much as value trash bags. And, while the odor control bags are moderately effective, those designed to cling to the rim of the can only work if you have the right size can to start with (and there are a wide range of can sizes in use). The Cinch holds the bags securely on any size can, and neutralizes odors, and you will save significant amounts of money by taking advantage of the many bargains available with value trash bags. It's a Cinch.
Furthermore, Cinches make liner changes easier and faster. Professional cleaners save time on each and every liner they change versus tying knots, or using clumsy rubber bands, or attempting to stretch bags on cans they simply don’t fit. Some change thousands every day. Time is money. Cinches can also offset the rising costs of plastic liners by reducing the amount of "over lining" often used to hang over the rim. Cinches will also save you the clean-up time associated with cave-ins by stopping them from happening in the first place.
How much is your time worth?
Q. How long will the Cinch stick to a can?
A. The Cinch Base should last as long as you own the can. The adhesive can take up to 24 hours after application to fully cure, but the Cinch can be used immediately, under normal conditions, if applied to a clean, dry surface.
Q. How long will the Air Freshening Disc last?
A. For optimum air freshening, the disc should be changed about every 30 days. The liner-holding power of the disc will last indefinitely.
Q. Does the Cinch work as a general Air Freshener for the whole kitchen area or room?
A. That depends. The Cinch was designed to freshen the area around the trash can, and/or in the area that it is stored (usually in a broom closet, or under a counter) to neutralize the odors typically associated with kitchen or bathroom garbage. It was not intended as a general air freshener for large open spaces, however it will work well as a general air freshener in smaller more contained kitchen spaces or bathrooms.
Q. Will the Cinch work on round cans?
A. Yes. The Cinch will stick to any shaped container.
Q. Do I need to do anything special before applying the Cinch?
A. Make sure the surface you are applying the Cinch to is clean and dry. We also recommend that the area where the Cinch is to be placed is rubbed with and isopropyl alcohol to remove the oily release agent residue that is often found on plastic containers
Q. Does the Cinch disc come in different scents?
A. Currently no, however we will be releasing additional fragrances such as Lavender (another scent for bathroom use), and Peppermint (known to have "up-lifting" and motivational properties) for office use. A total of 12 unique fragrances are currently being tested for eventual release.
Q. Do Cinches work on both high and low density liners?
A. Yes. Cinches work on all sizes and types of liners.
Q. Do Cinches work on "draw-string" liners?
A. Yes. Cinches even work great with draw-string liners
